Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya has commissioned several community projects aimed at improving education and infrastructure in Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency.
The commissioning event took place at Alore Primary School, with notable guests such as the Ajanasi Agba of Ilorin, Sheikh (Dr.) Yusuf Mujtabah Bature, and other community leaders in attendance.
The projects include renovations and new constructions at various schools, such as the renovation of classrooms, installation of solar-powered boreholes with overhead tanks, and the construction of new classrooms, all geared towards providing better learning environments for students.
During his speech, Hon. Shagaya expressed his happiness in completing these projects, which include:
• Renovation of two classrooms with offices at Oke Ebo, Pakata LGEA Primary School.
• Solar-powered borehole and VIP toilets at Apalara Adeta LGEA Primary School.
• Construction of six classrooms at Alore Junior Secondary School.
• Renovation of two classrooms at Gerewu Community LGEA Primary School.
• Solar-powered borehole and VIP toilets at Asa LGEA Primary School, Afon.
• Renovation of two classrooms at Gaa Odota LGEA Primary School.
• Construction of two classrooms at Alore LGEA Primary School.
• Renovation of two classrooms at Bakase LGEA Primary School.
These projects will help improve the quality of education and infrastructure in our constituency,” Shagaya said.
He also thanked the state government for its support, particularly under the leadership of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, and promised to continue working for the welfare and development of the constituency.
The event ended with prayers and praise from community leaders, who commended Shagaya’s efforts to bring positive change to the area.
