Rep. Shagaya Boosts Cultural Heritage

Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, has distributed Aso-Oke materials to his constituents.
Kwara State Artisan Chairman, Alh. Adesina Jimoh, while speaking at the event posited that the initiative will promote and preserve the cultural heritage of Yoruba people, particularly in Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency.

PEO General Duties National Productivity Center, Mrs Olaoye Habeebat Oluwatosin in her remarks said she has never seen this type of life changing Empowerment and posited that distribution of Aso-Oke materials, demonstrates Shagaya’s commitment to empowering his constituents and promoting cultural awareness.

In his reaction, Chairman of Aso-Oke, Alh. Tunde Jamaje on behalf of the beneficiaries appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture, affirming that it will boost the local textile industry and encourage the use of traditional fabrics for cultural and ceremonial purposes.
