In a remarkable display of generosity, renowned business mogul and philanthropist Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya has announced full scholarships for two exceptional pupils, Qasim Abdulhameed and Soffiyah Saheed. The students, who participated in the 2nd Annual Quran and Fiqh Competition organized by Muktar Shagaya Youth Forum in honor of the member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Honourable Muktar Tolani Shagaya, were selected for their outstanding performances.
Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya made the announcement during the event, immediately elevating the atmosphere with his philanthropic gesture. He also donated a sum of 1 million naira to be distributed among the competition winners.
The competition featured two categories: Quran and Fiqh. In addition to the scholarships offered by Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya, CEO of Karmod Nigeria Ltd., Alhaji Hakeem Shagaya, also pledged full university scholarships to Toyeeb Muhammad Awwal, the winner of the Fiqh Category, and Abdulrahaman Abdulgafar, the winner of the Quran Category.
